Chickens

We have a large variety of chickens. We raise them for eggs and meat. We have about fifty and don't plan on getting any more. Our laying breeds are: Rhode Island Reds, Red and Black Sexlinks, Buff Orpington, White and Barred Rocks, Americana, Black Australorp, White Leghorns, Dominique, Barnevenlders, and a mixed Bany rooster. The only breeds of meat birds we have are Cornish rocks. We NOW have an automatic watering system for our chickens. Thanks again Parge! They will have fresh water 24/7 so we hope to get more eggs and have happier healthier birds. Forrest county 4-H finally has a poultry club! We will be showing six black sex-link hens in September.

Rabbits

We have started to raise rabbits in the last year. We raise New Zealand meat rabbits. We have white, black, and broken red. We only have one buck right now. We plan on eating the babies from our breeders. We also have automatic water for the rabbits too. We like to keep apple cider vinger in their water to increase littler size and as a natural wormer.
